Key Features & Benefits

  • DNA Tuned Cushioning: Cutting-edge dual-size cell technology. Larger cells in the heel provide soft, plush landings, while smaller cells in the forefoot invite responsive, energetic toe-offs.
  • Neutral Support & Max Cushion: Gives your foot freedom to move naturally while surrounding it in supreme, protective softness—ideal for long miles on the road.
  • Accommodating Stealthfit Upper: The updated soft, flat knit upper offers a unique blend of stretch and compression. It moves with your foot like a sock for maximum comfort and an adaptive fit.
  • Smooth, Stable Transitions: A broad platform stabilizes your foot, while the tuned heel and forefoot work together to smooth out your heel-to-toe transitions effortlessly.

Premium Materials & Build Quality

As a premium tier running shoe, the Glycerin Stealthfit 22 utilizes top-tier materials focused on providing a luxurious yet durable running experience mile after mile.

⭐ Upper: Soft Flat Knit (Stealthfit)
Engineered to provide a balance of stretch and compression. This flexible mesh adapts to the shape of your foot, preventing hot spots while locking you in securely for distraction-free movement.

⭐ Midsole: DNA Tuned (Dual-Cell Nitrogen Foam)
The most advanced Brooks foam to date. By varying the cell size, it absorbs massive impact in the heel and delivers a snappy, propulsive feel in the forefoot, ensuring the shoe never feels sluggish.

⭐ Outsole: Broad Rubber Platform
Designed for stability and durability. The wide base provides a secure landing zone, while the high-quality rubber compound holds up exceptionally well against the friction of road running and gym floors.

Our Experience & Tips

After running in the Brooks Glycerin Stealthfit 22 for long weekend miles and intense gym workouts, a few things stood out immediately. First, the Stealthfit upper is the star of the show. Unlike the standard Glycerin which has a traditional engineered mesh, this version uses a sock-like, incredibly stretchy knit that wraps around your foot like a second skin. It is by far the most comfortable upper we have ever worn in a running shoe. Second, the nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3 cushioning is pure luxury. It absorbs impact like a luxury car suspension. Our biggest tip: the stretchy upper means you can wear this shoe without untying the laces—just slip it on and go. However, if you have narrow feet, this upper might feel a bit too loose and sloppy during fast runs, so the standard Glycerin might be a better choice.

Compared to the regular Glycerin 22, the Stealthfit version feels sleeker, more modern, and breathes much better in hot weather. It transitions smoothly from a 10-mile run straight to running errands in athleisure wear without looking clunky. The GlideRoll Rocker actively helps your foot roll forward, reducing fatigue in your calves.

What to Consider Before Buying

Before you invest in the Glycerin Stealthfit, consider the weather and your foot shape. The stretchy knit upper is fantastic in the summer, but it is essentially a sieve. If you run in the rain, cold weather, or snow, your feet will get wet and freezing instantly. Also, keep in mind that while the knit stretches, it doesn't offer much structural support for severe overpronators. Finally, this is a max-cushion shoe, meaning it sits very high off the ground. If you are prone to ankle sprains or running on highly technical, uneven trails, the high stack height combined with the soft foam can cause a "tippy" feeling. It is best used on smooth roads and sidewalks.

Whether you are recovering from a hard workout, training for a marathon, or simply want the most comfortable daily trainer on the market, the Brooks Glycerin Stealthfit 22 will make every run feel like a treat for your feet.
